Espresso, dark chocolate and blackberry jam: Double Black makes no secret of what it is after. This is a California red blend built for intensity, aged in heavily charred oak to push the roasted, smoky character as far forward as it will go. Subtlety is not the objective, and the wine is honest about that from the first sip.
