Champale has been around since the 1930s, one of the original American malt beverages and a fixture of corner stores long before craft beer existed. The Golden is the original: light in color, gently sparkling, and sold the classic way, in 12 ounce bottles by the six pack.
It pours pale and effervescent, with a light malt sweetness, a soft body and a crisp, quick finish. Serve it very cold, straight from the bottle or poured into a glass to show the bubbles. A nostalgic pour, an easy backyard option, and a piece of American drinking history still in production.
