Product Description
Graham's has been making port in the Douro since 1820, and the 10 Year Tawny is the house's most versatile bottle. Tawny port is aged in cask rather than in glass, so oxygen does the work that decades in bottle would otherwise do, and the result is nutty and mellow rather than dark and brooding. Once opened it keeps for weeks.
Dried fig, walnut, butterscotch and orange peel, sweet but balanced, with a warm, gently spiced finish. Serve it slightly chilled in a small glass. A natural with almonds, creme brulee, apple tart or a wedge of hard cheese, and one of the better things to drink beside a fire.
