Product Description
Burdeos is the bottle Patrón makes when it wants to borrow from Bordeaux. An añejo tequila is aged, distilled again, then finished in barrels that previously held Bordeaux wine, a step almost nobody else in tequila attempts. The hand-numbered crystal decanter is the least interesting thing about it.
Rich and unmistakably wine-inflected: dried cherry, raisin, vanilla and oak layered over sweet cooked agave, with a long velvety finish. Serve it neat in a snifter and give it air. A bottle for the end of a long dinner, or for the person whose shelf already holds everything else.
