Product Description
Bob Dylan's whiskey project takes its Bootleg Series name from his own catalogue of rare and unreleased recordings, and the analogy holds: these are the bottles pulled from the back of the rickhouse. Volume VI is a twelve-year wheated bourbon given a finishing period in Limousin oak casks previously used for cigars, an unusual choice that trades ordinary sweetness for something darker and more aromatic. A 2024 release, allocated and finite.
Leather, dark tobacco, dried cherry and cocoa sit over soft wheated caramel, with a dry, resinous finish. Pour a small measure neat in a tulip glass and let it sit for a few minutes. Collectors will want it unopened; anyone else should open it and pay attention.
