Product Description
Shiraz from South Australia at its most unapologetic — dark, plush and built for the grill rather than for contemplation. Henry’s Drive takes its name and its mail-coach imagery from the property’s own history, and the house style has always favoured generosity over restraint. The 2017 now carries enough bottle age to have softened its edges without giving up the fruit that makes it work.
Look for black plum, blackberry and cracked pepper, with vanilla-tinged oak and soft, rounded tannin on a warming finish. Pour it alongside lamb, short ribs, or anything cooked over charcoal. Open it half an hour ahead and it fills out noticeably.
