Product Description
Clear tequila with the palate of an old one. Casa Herradura ages this well past the anejo threshold and then filters the colour out, producing a spirit that looks like a blanco and drinks like something considerably more expensive. It is a conversation piece that happens to be genuinely good, which is rarer than it sounds.
The profile is rich and rounded: honey, cooked agave, vanilla, toasted nuts and a faint note of dried pear, with a long gentle finish and almost no bite. Pour it neat in a copita, slightly cool. Mixing it would miss the point entirely.
