Product Description
A few months in oak is all it takes to change a tequila’s personality, and Hornitos Reposado demonstrates it plainly. The agave is still front and centre, but the barrel has added a golden softness that makes the spirit far easier to drink slowly. A hundred percent blue agave, and priced to be used rather than admired.
Honeyed cooked agave with vanilla, light toffee and a dusting of oak spice, closing gently. Neat it is genuinely pleasant; in a margarita it gives the drink a rounder, less acidic shape. The bottle to buy if you keep exactly one tequila in the house.
