Product Description
Bourbon is one of the few spirits defined by law rather than custom: made in the United States, from a mash of at least 51 percent corn, aged in new charred oak. Horos works inside those rules without the marketing budget of the big Kentucky names, which is usually good news for the price. A small-label bourbon for people who buy by taste rather than by billboard.
The corn-forward mash gives sweetness — caramel, vanilla, a little baked apple — with char and oak spice from the new barrel and a warm, medium finish. Pour it over a large cube, or put it to work in an old fashioned or a whiskey sour.
