That aqua-blue glow is the whole reason this bottle became famous, and it has been a fixture of party bars since the early 2000s. Hpnotiq blends vodka and cognac with tropical fruit juices into a low-strength liqueur that photographs as well as it pours, which explains its long life in nightclubs and on backyard bar carts. Nostalgic, yes, but still genuinely useful when you need a drink that looks like an event.

Sweet and fruit-driven, with passionfruit, mango, pineapple and citrus over a light, easy body. Serve it very cold, straight from the fridge, or lengthen it with pineapple juice, prosecco or coconut rum.
