Product Description
Hussong’s Cantina opened in Ensenada in 1892 and has a decent claim to being the birthplace of the margarita. The tequila carrying the name trades on that history, and the Platinum is the unaged expression — the clearest, most agave-forward bottle in the line, and the one the cantina’s signature drink was built around.
Crisp and lively: cooked agave, citrus peel, white pepper and a clean mineral finish. A mixing tequila with enough character to sip cold. Make a margarita with fresh lime and no shortcuts, which is presumably what the bar had in mind all along. Serve chilled.
