Product Description
The third in the Iconos de Mexico series of wooden-box releases, this one built around Mayan iconography — the glyphs, calendars and cosmology of the civilisation that shaped southern Mexico for millennia. The box is a piece of craft in its own right, which accounts for a good part of why these bottles get bought as gifts.
The tequila is an anejo, softened and coloured by extended time in oak. Expect baked agave with caramel, vanilla, a hint of cocoa and toasted spice, finishing warm and long. Pour it neat at room temperature, take your time, and keep the box.
