Product Description
For most of its modern history Jack Daniel's sold no age-stated whiskey at all, which makes a twelve year old from Lynchburg a genuine event rather than a line extension. These barrels spend more than a decade in the Tennessee hills, through a dozen cycles of hot summers and cold winters, and the wood has a great deal to say by the end of it. Released in limited batches.
Deep and resinous, with dark caramel, baked fruit, leather, tobacco and heavy toasted oak, closing long and dry. Drink it neat from a glass that concentrates aroma, and give it ten minutes before the first sip. A bottle for the shelf, not the mixer.
