Triple Mash combines Tennessee straight whiskey with straight rye and straight malt whiskey at 100 proof, in a category so rarely used in America that most drinkers have never seen it named. One of the better value bottles the distillery makes.
Malt gives biscuit and orchard fruit, rye gives pepper and a herbal snap, and the Tennessee component gives caramel and sweet char, with the strength binding all three into a long, spice-driven finish. Neat with a drop of water, or in an old fashioned that can take the weight.
