Product Description
Fifty-six herbs, roots, blossoms and spices, macerated and then rested in oak for a year before bottling. The recipe has not changed since 1935 and is still kept quiet in Wolfenbuttel, Germany. Jagermeister spent decades as a respectable German digestif before American bars turned it into something else entirely, and it works perfectly well as both. The large bottle is for hosts and bars.
Anise, licorice, bitter orange peel and a resinous herbal depth, sweet at the front and bracingly bitter at the back. It must be served ice cold, straight from the freezer, in a small glass. It also makes a genuinely good mixed drink with ginger beer or cold brew coffee.
