JAJA came out of the Jalisco valleys with a deliberately modern look and a straightforward mission: agave-forward tequila at a price that does not demand a special occasion. The anejo is the most developed expression in the line, picking up real barrel character while keeping the agave in the foreground where it belongs.
Amber in the glass, with cooked agave, vanilla, caramel and dried fruit over gentle oak spice, finishing warm and smooth. Serve it neat in a copita, or over one large cube if you prefer it cold. It also makes a fine old fashioned for anyone who wants to bring tequila to a bourbon drink.
