Product Description
Jameson built its reputation on restraint, so Black Barrel is what happens when the distillery decides to push. Small-batch grain whiskey and a generous share of single pot still spirit are married together and finished in bourbon barrels charred twice over, a step that cracks the oak open and pulls far more out of it than a standard fill ever would.
The pour is darker in tone: caramel, toasted coconut, cocoa and a warm spice edge that lingers well past the swallow. It stands up neat, shines with one big cube, and makes an Old Fashioned with real depth. For drinkers who like Irish whiskey but want it turned up a notch.
