Product Description
Orange and whiskey have been sharing a glass since the first bartender twisted a peel over a coupe, so this is less a novelty than a shortcut. Jameson infuses its Irish whiskey with natural orange flavour and bottles it at a softer 30% strength, which makes it a mixing spirit first and foremost rather than a sipper.
The nose is all bright citrus zest; the palate follows with sweet orange, a little vanilla and a gentle whiskey warmth on a short finish. Best built tall over ice with lemonade, soda or cola and a fat orange slice. A good bottle to have behind the bar when you are pouring for a crowd that does not want anything challenging.
