Product Description
Pinot Noir asks more of a grower than almost any other grape and gives back a wine of unusual delicacy when it goes right. This is a bottling made in that lighter register rather than an attempt to turn Pinot into something heavier, and it is priced to be opened on an ordinary evening instead of saved for an anniversary.
Red cherry, cranberry and a little rose petal sit over supple tannin, with an earthy, faintly savoury undertow and a bright, clean finish. Serve it slightly cool, around cellar temperature, with roast chicken, salmon, mushroom risotto or a plate of charcuterie. One of the most food-friendly reds you can put on a table.
