The cantarito is a Jalisco street classic, built in a clay cup with tequila, lime, orange, grapefruit and a heavy pinch of salt. El Jimador has packaged that combination into a four-pack, using its own tequila as the base so the drink actually tastes like it came from somewhere rather than from a lab.
Expect bright mixed citrus, a saline edge and just enough agave bite to keep it from reading as soda. Serve each can over ice with a salted rim and a wedge of lime or grapefruit. Well suited to a hot afternoon, a tailgate, or anywhere a cooler is doing the work of a bar.
