Product Description
Scotland and rye do not usually appear in the same sentence, which is what makes this blend interesting. Malt whisky supplies the fruit and body while grain whisky distilled from a high proportion of rye brings a peppery, dry spice that American whiskey drinkers will recognise immediately. Bottled at 45%, it has the backbone to survive dilution.
Crisp and assertive, with baked apple, cinnamon, vanilla and a clean crack of black pepper on a dry finish. It was conceived as a cocktail whisky, so put it to work: Old Fashioned, Manhattan, Highball with ginger ale and a long lemon twist. A smart bridge between the bourbon shelf and the Scotch shelf.
