Product Description
A few months in oak is the compromise that keeps everybody happy. Long enough for the barrel to lend colour, vanilla and a softer shape, short enough that the agave still leads the conversation. This reposado sits in the middle of the Jon Basil lineup and is probably the most useful bottle of the three, sipping well and mixing better than a blanco in anything with body.
Straw gold, with cooked agave, light caramel, baked pear and a dusting of cinnamon over a gently peppery finish. Good neat, better over one cube, and excellent in a margarita where you want more weight. A versatile pick if you are buying just one agave bottle.
