Tradicional is the oldest tequila the house makes, and it is the bottle to reach for when the gold expression will not do. The distinction matters: this one is made entirely from blue agave rather than blended with other sugars, and that single decision changes the whole character of the spirit. It remains one of the better value 100% agave bottles on the shelf.
Crisp and vegetal, with cooked agave, citrus peel, a hint of black pepper and a clean, dry finish. This is the silver to use for a real margarita with fresh lime, or a Paloma with good grapefruit soda. Cold and neat in a small glass works too, with a slice of orange.
