Product Description
Time in oak is the most expensive ingredient in any spirit, and an anejo has to sit for at least a year before it can carry the name. This is the aged end of the Tradicional line, made from 100% blue agave and then left in barrel long enough for the wood to turn a peppery blanco into something considerably rounder and darker.
Amber and soft, with caramel, toasted oak, dried fruit and cooked agave running under a warm vanilla sweetness. Drink it the way you would a good whiskey: neat, at room temperature, in a glass that narrows at the top. Lime and salt would only get in the way of what the barrel did.
