Product Description
Cristalino is one of the cleverer ideas in modern tequila. An aged spirit is passed through charcoal filtration, which strips the colour out but leaves much of what the barrel contributed behind. The result looks like a blanco and drinks like something considerably softer, which is exactly why the style has taken over the premium shelf in the last decade.
Clear in the glass but rounded on the palate, with vanilla, honey and light caramel sitting over cooked agave and a gentle peppery lift. Serve it chilled and neat, or use it where a blanco would be too sharp: a refined margarita, or a Paloma with fresh grapefruit. Sleek, modern and easy to like.
