Product Description
Pinot Noir is the hardest grape to make cheaply and still make well, which is why an approachable one at this price is worth noting. Josh Cellars sources California fruit and keeps the winemaking light-handed, chasing the silky red-fruited character people actually want from Pinot rather than muscling it into something bigger.
Expect strawberry, red cherry and a little cola spice over light tannins and a soft, clean finish. Serve it just cool of room temperature and it brightens considerably. Salmon, roast chicken, duck, mushroom dishes and charcuterie all sit well beside it. One of the few reds that still works on a summer evening.
