Product Description
Blending Sauvignon Blanc with Chardonnay is an unusual move, and Seaswept works because the two grapes cover each other's gaps: the Sauvignon brings the zip, the Chardonnay brings the body. Josh Cellars aimed this one at coastal drinking, and the character in the glass follows through on the idea.
Citrus and green apple lead, with a little melon and a rounder, softer mid-palate than straight Sauvignon Blanc would give you. The finish is dry and clean with a faint saline note. Serve it cold alongside oysters, ceviche, grilled white fish, fish tacos or a salad heavy on fresh herbs. Made for lunch outdoors.
