Juggernaut was built to deliver the weight and darkness of a far pricier California Cabernet, and it does not hedge - this is a wine that fills the glass and then the room. Anyone partial to the big Napa style will recognize it at once.
Full-bodied and lush, with blackberry, dark plum, espresso and vanilla over tannins that grip without scraping. It wants protein and fat: dry-aged steak, lamb, a burger with blue cheese, short ribs. Decant it if you can spare the time, since it broadens noticeably in the first half hour.
