Product Description
Extra anejo is the youngest category in tequila law and the slowest to produce: a minimum of three years in oak, during which a meaningful share of the spirit simply evaporates. Few producers are willing to wait that long, and fewer still to tie up that much agave. KAH does, and what results belongs in a snifter rather than a shaker.
Deep amber in the glass, with butterscotch, dried fruit, roasted nuts and cigar-box spice layered over the agave still running underneath. The finish is long, dry and faintly smoky. Drink it neat and unhurried at room temperature, the way you would treat a good aged rum or a cognac.
