Product Description
Kendall-Jackson has been California's most consistently reliable large winery since Jess Jackson bottled his first vintage in the early 1980s, and the range runs well past the Chardonnay that made the name. The Zinfandel gets the same treatment as everything else in the house: cooler coastal fruit, moderate oak, and a visible preference for balance.
The result is jammy without being heavy - blackberry, raspberry, black pepper and a little clove over medium tannins and a dry, warming finish. Pair it with ribs, grilled sausage, pulled pork, chili or a sharp cheddar. Serve it a few degrees cool and the spice comes into sharper focus.
