Not every Pinot Noir needs a lecture attached. Knucklehead takes the lighter, friendlier road through the grape, which is exactly what a lot of weeknight tables want from a red: soft tannins, real fruit and nothing to decode. It is priced to be opened rather than saved.
Expect red cherry and raspberry with a hint of cola and baking spice, a silky mid-palate and a short, clean finish. Serve just below room temperature, or give it twenty minutes in the fridge on a warm day. Works with salmon, mushroom pasta, roast pork, or a cheese board assembled in a hurry.
