Product Description
The name comes from the sea monster of Norse legend, and the bottle, with its two handles and antique glass, leans hard into the story. Underneath the theatre is a well-judged spiced rum: Caribbean rum blended with a proprietary run of spices and darkened to near-black. At 94 proof it has considerably more presence than most spiced rums on the shelf.
Thick and sweet-edged, with molasses, vanilla, cinnamon, clove and ginger over a warm, lightly bitter finish. It holds up in cocktails where lighter spiced rums vanish. Try it with ginger beer and lime, in a dark and stormy, or simply over ice.
