Product Description
Cool-climate Pinot Noir is what La Crema was built for. The winery has spent decades chasing coastal California sites where fog rolls in and the fruit ripens slowly, and the results favor elegance and aromatics over sheer power. This is Pinot for a dinner table rather than a tasting bench.
Red cherry, raspberry and a note of tea leaf sit over silky tannins, with a bright acid line keeping everything lively. Serve slightly cool, a little below room temperature. It flatters salmon, duck breast, roast chicken, mushrooms and holiday ham, and it is one of the few reds that works at a summer table.
