Product Description
Sonoma County is where La Crema does its most serious work with Pinot Noir, drawing on sites close enough to the Pacific that cold air does the job of restraining ripeness. What comes out is more structured than the entry bottlings and still recognizably the same hand at work.
Dark cherry and cranberry lead, with forest floor, clove and a long, fine-grained finish. There is real savory depth here, not just fruit. Serve at cellar temperature with duck, pork loin, wild mushrooms or an aged cheese. It will also improve quietly in a rack for a few more years if you leave it alone.
