Product Description
The Sonoma Coast is one of the colder places in California to ripen Chardonnay, which is precisely why La Crema farms there. Fog and ocean wind stretch the growing season, and the wine holds onto acidity that warmer sites give away. This is the bottling that best explains the winery's following.
Citrus and white flowers up front, then a rounder core of pear and brioche with a flick of saline minerality on the finish. Serve cool in a broad glass. It is at its best with oysters, scallops, roast chicken and anything carrying butter in the sauce, and it will hold for several years.
