Product Description
Lagunitas started in Northern California in the 1990s with a loose, funny attitude and a serious hop program, and A Little Sumpin Sumpin captures both. It is built on a wheat base rather than the usual pale malt, which gives it a softness most hoppy beers never manage.
The nose is grapefruit, lemon zest and pine; the body is smooth and slightly hazy with a clean, bitter finish. At 7.5 percent it drinks lighter than the number suggests, so pour it into a glass rather than straight from the bottle. Good with tacos, fried chicken, sharp cheese or a hot afternoon.
