Product Description
Chardonnay travels well, and Italian growers have quietly made a specialty of the leaner, more mineral end of the grape, far from the buttery California template. Lanciola works in that register: a white made for food rather than for sipping alone, with restraint where others reach for oak.
Expect citrus, green apple and white peach with a saline, stony finish and only a whisper of creaminess. Serve chilled but not frozen, in a standard white glass. It is at its best with seafood risotto, grilled branzino, roast chicken with lemon, or a plate of cheese and bread at the end of a meal.
