Product Description
The Lange family has farmed in Lodi since the 1870s, a long enough run to have watched the region go from bulk-grape country to a genuinely respected appellation. Their Cabernet takes advantage of Lodi's warm days and cool delta nights, and it is priced well below what the farming behind it would suggest.
Ripe blackberry and cassis lead, with mocha, vanilla and a soft, dusty tannin that makes it drinkable straight away. Serve at cool room temperature. A natural with tri-tip, barbecue, burgers or a bowl of chili, and generous enough to please a room without needing a decanter first.
