Product Description
Zinfandel is Lodi's calling card, grown there longer and more successfully than almost anywhere else in California, and the Lange family has been farming the region for five generations. The 2014 came from a warm, drought-shortened season that produced concentrated fruit and wines with plenty of upfront generosity.
Expect brambly blackberry and raspberry jam with black pepper, sweet spice and a warm, round finish. Serve at cool room temperature in a large glass. This is barbecue wine in the best sense: ribs, pulled pork, smoked brisket, or a burger with too much on it. Drink it now rather than waiting on it.
