Product Description
Petite Sirah is a grape with nothing petite about it: thick skins, deep color, and tannins that stain the glass. Lodi is one of the few places in California that grows it seriously, and LangeTwins bottles a version with all the weight the variety promises plus enough polish to keep it civil.
Expect inky blueberry and blackberry, dark chocolate, black pepper and a long, gripping finish. Give it an hour in a decanter and serve in a big glass at cool room temperature. This wants serious food: brisket, venison, braised short ribs, or an aged cheese with some salt in it.
