Product Description
Alexandra Marnier Lapostolle, of the family behind Grand Marnier, went to Chile in the 1990s and brought French winemaking instincts to Chilean fruit. The result was a house that treats its value bottlings with real seriousness, and the Cabernet is the clearest example: a lot of wine for the money.
Expect ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry with notes of cedar, mint and cocoa, framed by smooth tannins and a good spine of acidity. Serve at cool room temperature after twenty minutes open. Very good with grilled steak, lamb, empanadas or a hard cheese, and a dependable case buy for entertaining.
