Product Description
Rose from the Minho is a lesser-known corner of Portuguese wine and one of the better-value ones. Made from the region's native red grapes and handled much the same way as its famous white sibling, Las Lilas keeps the alcohol low, the acidity high and the price almost incidental.
The color is bright cherry-pink and the palate is light and crisp, with wild strawberry, raspberry and a citrus snap, finishing dry with a faint spritz. Serve it very cold. It suits grilled shrimp, chorizo, salads and picnic food, and it is an easy bottle to hand to someone who only drinks rose.
