Product Description
A quiet, well-made French red of the kind that fills dinner tables rather than trophy cellars. The 2019 has settled nicely by now: the fruit has softened, the tannins have knit together, and the whole thing drinks with the easy composure that only a few years in bottle can buy. Small-scale, unshowy, and priced like a wine meant to be opened rather than admired.
Look for dark berry and cassis with a leafy, graphite-tinged edge and a dry, medium-bodied finish. It is built for food more than for sipping: steak frites, roast lamb, lentils, a cheese board. Decant briefly if you have time, or simply pour and let the glass do the work.
