Product Description
Pinot Noir is the most food-friendly red there is, and the trick at the affordable end is finding one with lift rather than dilution. Les Allies lands on the right side of that line: light on its feet, clearly fruited, and unburdened by heavy extraction or oak. Reach for it when the meal is delicate and a Cabernet would simply flatten everything.
Red cherry and cranberry with a faint earthy undertone and silky, low-grip tannins. Serve it slightly chilled, about fifteen minutes out of the fridge. Salmon, roast pork, mushroom dishes, charcuterie and Thanksgiving leftovers all suit it. Open it early and it holds through a second glass.
