Product Description
The house at Podensac, just south of Bordeaux, has been blending wine with citrus liqueurs since 1872, and Lillet is still one of the great French aperitifs. The Rouge leans on red Bordeaux varieties for a deeper, rounder profile than the familiar Blanc, which makes it the better bottle once the weather turns cool.
Ripe berry and blood orange over candied peel, lightly sweet, with a gentle bitterness on the finish that keeps it appetizing rather than cloying. Serve it cold over ice with an orange slice, or build it into a spritz with tonic.
