Product Description
Petite Sirah is not Syrah, though it is Syrah's offspring, and there is nothing petite about the wine it makes. It yields some of the darkest, most densely colored reds in California. Line 39 takes the grape at its most generous, with enough ripeness and oak to keep the natural grip in hand, and prices it as one of the better big-red values around.
Inky purple in the glass, with blackberry, blueberry, cracked pepper and a chocolate-edged finish that holds. Serve it with barbecue ribs, brisket, burgers or anything charred, after twenty minutes of air.
