Product Description
Reposado is the middle path in tequila: long enough in barrel to gather color and softness, short enough that the agave still leads. Lobos 1707 rests this one and then finishes it in Pedro Ximenez wine barrels, a step borrowed from the world of sherry that leaves the spirit with a distinctly fruited edge.
Roasted agave and vanilla with dried cherry, caramel and a light pepper finish, smooth enough to drink without ice. Sip it neat, or put it where a reposado earns its keep: an old fashioned with agave syrup, a smoky paloma, a margarita built on fresh lime and nothing else.
