Product Description
A seasonal bottle with a job to do. Lynfred, in Roselle just west of Chicago, makes this spiced red for the stretch between Thanksgiving and New Year, when what people actually want is less about terroir and more about something warm and sweet in a mug.
Cinnamon, clove and orange peel over soft red fruit, sweet and very low in tannin. It is at its best warmed gently on the stove with an orange wheel and a cinnamon stick, though it drinks perfectly well chilled if the house is already too warm. Pour it with gingerbread, spiced nuts or a cookie plate.
