Product Description
Commemorative bottlings are often more package than liquid. This is not one of those. Dobel's 50 release is an extra anejo, meaning at least three years in oak, drawn from a house whose tequila-making runs back through eleven generations of the same Jalisco family.
Expect concentration rather than aggression — roasted agave, caramel, baked apple, vanilla and sweet oak, with a texture closer to aged brandy than to any mixing tequila. Pour it neat, no ice, and give it a few minutes to open in the glass. For anniversaries and the last pour of the night.
