Product Description
American whiskey covers an enormous amount of ground, from corn-sweet and soft to dry and spice-driven, and a straightforward 750 ml bottle like this one is how most people work out where their own preference sits. No mystique is required. An honest American whiskey on the shelf is a working tool for cocktails and a reasonable pour on its own terms.
Look for the familiar American register: vanilla and caramel drawn from charred oak, a little baking spice, a rounded sweetness and a warm finish. Serve it neat, over one large cube, or in the classics it was made for, an old fashioned, a highball or a sour.
